Sister's trip in Malaysia Day 1: together we lost!!
This chance, I will share my first experiences step in another's country only with my elder sister. Let's direct move on to the first activity that we did after we were landing at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Of course, I haven't had any idea what should I did after I have passed the immigration checking process. Do you question what should we do during the immigration checking process? Ok, I will tell you a little bit about the process (for any of you who haven't experience this hehee ๐). The first thing you should do is let your bag free from your shoulders (you should put your bag on the place that already provided) because the scanner tools will automatically detect all your equipments inside the bag. If you are bringing a laptop, wearing a belt or anything that the basic material is iron, you should put this out from your bag and you should take off your belt or any iron things to let you free from the scanning body machine. After the equipment scanning process is successfully passed, you will be delivered to the personal checking process. Here you will be asked by the immigration officer about what kind of purposes in visiting this country, how long you will stay, with whom are you and other personal questions. Of course, you should answer all the questions given then your face will be captured and fingerprint is required to do. If you are successfully passing those steps, then you can enjoy your trip!
Back again to my story...
The first thing we did after landed was looking for the bus that will be delivered to the KL Sentral. KL Sentral was a place that sold everything we need such as public transportation to bring us going around in Kuala Lumpur, and also there we will find a sim card that will help us communicate with our parents and also help us to operate google maps and other internet occupations. Then we were queueing to the locket that sold us the bus ticket to KL Sentral. The price was 12 RM per person and it was worth the facility inside the bus. Fortunately, we were no longer waiting for the bus coming because the bus already waiting for us and ready for taking us to the place. During the journey to KL Sentral, we were accompanied by the hard rain outside. It makes the weather inside the bus become colder. In short, we have arrived at KL Sentral.
There, we directly found a bus that will be delivered to Bukit Bintang, the city that will become our place to stay. There were GoKL bus and rapidKL bus. For the GoKL bus, it will differentiate by the colors according to the destinations. Here I will attach the GoKL's route map that I found in Google. In that map, you will directly know the colors of the bus you should choose based on the destination. For the price, it is free but we should be patient in waiting for the bus coming. But, I should appreciate the transportation system in Malaysia because it is very well organized by showing the time of the bus coming in some spots, so it helps us a lot to know how long the bus will come.
After around 30 minutes trip to the place that we have already decided to stay, which is Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur, we were arrived. But still, we should walk around 1 km from the bus stop to our dorm. It was 9 p.m. in Malaysia's time (1 hours faster than in Indonesia). I felt very tired because I should brought my heavy backpack and a small bag in my front. My sister tried to entertain me by ask me to take a picture together (even our faces were not beautiful at all ๐). I didn't feel tired anymore since I watched the crowd of people eating their foods. For me, Bukit Bintang was the strategic place for us to stay because the vibes actually the same as we are stay in Seminyak or Malioboro in Indonesia. There are a lot bars, restaurants, foods market that makes the place alive. Shortly, we were arrived at our dorm, a very comfortable dorm with cheaper price. (to be continued...)
